Symmetry… is great or not?

If you are in this blog through THIS site you know that I am consider myself an ecologist, and my friends are also trying to support the idea…
So, I am interested and I spend quite times looking and thinking about “ecological things”. Yes, I am just a person who is not specialized and what I do is just to read “bits of scraps of informations” and to try to find a way to help…
I saw few days ago the movie “Earthling” and I was sooo intrigued about it. Yes, like many people, you could say that I was intrigued because people are crazy and they kill a lot of animals, they treat them poorly, they are almost making fun of the suffer of this poor animals… No.
I am very intrigued that some of the best persons (I’m talking here about Joaquin Phoenix and Moby) can work for this crazy movie.
Let’s read something about the descriptions:
IMDB: Plot Outline: Using hidden cameras and never-before-seen footage, EARTHLINGS chronicles the day-to-day practices of the largest industries in the world, all of which rely entirely on animals for profit.
Question: are you eating meat? you, your brothers, your colleagues, your country… are YOU eating meat? If the answer is “yes” the case is closed.
Why we need A HORROR MOVIE to explain us that killing animals is a bad thing? WE KNOW, alright?? We know and we have too accept that if we want to live…
My philosophy about ecology and environment is different: try not to be a crazy consumer. That’s it. Try to re-use stuff, try to recycle, try to be a little conscientious about the things that surround you…
To say: “some people are killing animals to make profit” is a STUPID thing. Profit? how? selling? to who?… maybe even TO YOU, crazy persons who filmed this horror scenes…
In other part of the movie, they show how animals are treated almost criminal in the name of science… this is very bad, they say, this is wrong. Really? What do you think about Pavlov? Are you using medicine and drugs? If the answer is YES I will ask you something else: you will provide yourself to science? You will provide your kids to science? If the answer is NO… how can medicine evolve? By testing drugs and treatments on… on who? Can you wait 200 years for a doctor to test the medicine ONLY to dying people…
Anyway, this is one opinion about this 2 hours of… let’s call it movie.

I AM an ecologist, I recycle almost everything I can, I try not to be a crazy consumer, with my small power that I have (just a human power) I try to do things for our home: EARTH.
But like my ancestors, I eat meat.
Think again, ok?

P.S.: 1. When I was kid I’ve assisted to a pig killing: it’s a custom in a part of Eastern Europe to kill a pig (FOR FOOD!) before Christmas. This fact is also mentioned in Bible and… there is a ritual in every home to eat pig… I am 30 and I didn’t see anybody who take pleasure to kill animals. Every man I know said: “this is a custom, this is life: we eat animals, God made this way of life.” Believe it or not, “the killers” are praying for the soul of that animal…
2. I have to agree to a part of this movie: IS WRONG to put animals in a circus. Yes, this is wrong. To hunt for pleasure IS WRONG. To kill bulls for fun IS WRONG…

the internet is full of articles about luciano pavarotti who died…
i’ve talked with my colleagues about a question/fact… when can you say that a person is dead because he was too old?
if you are dying at 110 because of a heart attack, can we say that you are dead because you were too old?
luciano pavarotti (good music) died at the age of 71 because… he was too old or because of a disease?
well, if he was living in my country, we have been said that he could live longer… he died of a disease… but if he lived in some african state?

i will ask you the same question: at what age of death you can say that a person is dead because he was too old?
